We offer an extensive range of services in all aspects of dentistry. Below you will find a brief outline of some of these. If there is anything in particular that you would like to know, please feel free to give us a call.
Meet the Dentist Visit: We know that it is essential for you to feel absolutely comfortable when you choose a dentist. That is why we offer a complimentary “Meet the Dentist” visit prior to your initial new patient exam. We would be pleased to show you around, introduce you to the team and give you a chance to talk with the dentist about your needs and experiences with no obligation.
Diagnosis: In order to ensure that we can successfully achieve your goals for your smile, we need a complete picture of the current state of your mouth. In addition to a thorough examination and x-rays, we may recommend photographs and models. Our goal is to make sure you are completely informed of what will be required to give you the smile that you want in addition to bringing your mouth to its optimal level of health.
Hygiene: We believe that a good foundation is the key to optimal oral health. Our hygienists customize your treatment to properly care for your specific periodontal (gum and bone) needs. Whether this means regular 6-month hygiene maintenance appointments or full periodontal therapy, we always strive to provide the very best treatment while maintaining your absolute comfort.
Restorations: Our office is ‘mercury-free’! Modern dentistry has allowed us the pleasure of combining beauty as well as strength when filling teeth. We take pride in restoring teeth to as close to their original strength and appearance as modern science will allow. This means that most teeth can be restored with either composite resin fillings or ceramic inlays or onlays. If a tooth is broken down to the point that a filling can not restore it, a crown may be required. Crowns are made of a variety of materials to look and feel as natural as possible.
Bridging Gaps: Bridges fill spaces left by missing teeth. The teeth on either side of the space act as anchors, allowing us to construct a natural looking restoration that is fixed in the mouth for the best function and aesthetics.
Implants: Gone are the days of floppy dentures and unsightly clasps. With today’s implant technology, missing teeth can be replaced in such a way as to be almost as good as your natural teeth. Dental implants attach directly to your jawbone, giving you incredible stability and longevity as well as helping your jawbone to remain healthy instead of shrinking from lack of function. Once the implant is finished off with a porcelain crown, it is indistinguishable from your natural teeth and is just as strong. For those who already wear dentures or have a large number of teeth missing, implants can also be used to support dentures giving you the ultimate in stability without the cost of so many individual implants.
