About Dr. Wood

Charles C. Wood, DDS, brings more than 40 years of experience in general, family, and preventive dentistry to Westside Dentistry in Santa Monica, California, where he provides high-quality dental services to the men, women, and families of Los Angeles County. 

Dr. Wood began his professional pursuits at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. 

During his career, Dr. Wood has held various positions, including chief of dentistry at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. He’s also served for more than 20 years as a part-time faculty member at The USC School of Dentistry, teaching clinical dentistry with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. He’s received numerous awards for his dedication to his students and his work with underprivileged communities around the world. 

As a dentist, Dr. Wood works to provide quality care with compassion and gentleness. He loves spending one-on-one time with his patients and develops custom care plans based on their concerns and goals for treatment.
